Description

B.Sc Mathematics Honours is a 3-year undergraduate course that deals with the elementary concepts of spatial and numerical relations, including the study of subjects like differential calculus & vector calculus, probability and statistics, solid geometry, and differential equations. The main aim of the course is to train the students in the mathematics stream of Bachelor of Science in the effective management of accounts of any organization. B.Sc Maths Honours have diverse job opportunities in banking, research, and other organizations.

SYLLABUS

B.Sc Honours Mathematics syllabus is structured in a specific way to get theoretical and practical experience in mathematical science, statistics, etc. The students are introduced to all significant mathematics and mathematical principles as foundation subjects in the first year. In addition, B.Sc Maths Hons subjects include english and other soft skill modules to enhance the student's communication and comprehension skills.

ELIGIBILITY

Students, who passed H.S (+2) examination or it's equivalent including English, from any recognized council or board, with at least four (4) subjects and if he/she has obtained 40% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject in which he/she seeks Honours.

OR

35% marks in aggregate and 50% marksin the subject in which he/she seeks Honours.

OR

Applicant securing 50% marks in aggregate shall be eligible to pursue Honours in a subject which he/she did not study in H.S (+2) examination or equivalent, subjected to restriction on combination of subjects laid down by the Tripura University.
An applicant shall be eligible for admission to the 1st semester of B.A or B.Sc (Honours) Degree Course (Credit based six semester Degree Programme) subject to availability of seats and restrictions set by the Tripura University.

• --> Year 2 -- 52000 INR
• --> Year 3 -- 52000 INR
• --> Algebra

Fees may be paid in semester installments.
